The Importance of a Good Morning and Night Routine

One of my positive mental health resolutions this year was to try to incorporate a good morning and night routine into my life. I always feel better when I am sticking to a routine consistently, however, I wanted to dig deeper and learn what the true importance of this habit is. After researching and looking into this, I found ten reasons why having a good morning and night routine is impactful.

  1. Having a consistent routine in the morning and at night boosts overall productivity

  2. These routines calm the mind and promote a positive mood throughout your days

  3. Morning and night routines allow you to stay more organized and on track so you can achieve the most important tasks in your day

  4. A night routine helps you mentally divide day from night so you can properly unwind and sleep better

  5. Having a consistent time that you go to sleep and wake up allows your body to stay in rhythm and achieve better quality sleep

  6. Having a morning routine can lead to an increase in energy levels during the day

  7. People who have a morning routine often find that they are less irritable 

  8. Morning and night routines increase the likeness of carrying out healthy habits in your daily life

  9. Those who follow consistent routines maintain higher levels of focus 

  10. Consistent morning and night routines are thought to promote an overall healthier and happier lifestyle on a day to day basis
