Mental Health Resolutions for 2023

With the new year often comes new resolutions and goals. This year, the Lemons team wants to challenge everyone to set positive mental health resolutions for 2023. It is easy to fall into the ways of setting weight loss goals, financial goals, or other popular topics but setting mental health resolutions can make a significant positive influence on the way you enter 2023.

To get you started, we have listed some of the resolutions our team has set for the new year below. Our goal was to set attainable and realistic goals that will positively impact our mental health.

  • Practice at least one self-care activity a week

  • Take 5 minutes to just breathe each day

  • Avoid your cell phone for the first hour after waking up each morning

  • Stick to an evening and morning routine each day

  • Take more nature walks

  • Move your body each day

  • Stretch in the morning

  • Meditate 2-3 times a week

  • Reach out to one friend or family member a week to catch up and check in
