My passion for skin care goes back to my childhood. My mom has been an esthetician for many years, so I grew up watching her do treatments on clients all the time. I was always interested in learning what she was doing and why she was doing it. As I got older I loved trying out products and treatments from her. When I started my Instagram platform I did a series called “Self Care Sunday” where I tried out different products from companies I loved or products that were trending. Today, I am sharing some of my must-have products with you! These products I use religiously as either part of my morning routine or nighttime regimen.
The Tata Harper Clarifying AHA & BHA mask is one of my most used masks. It targets acne, blemishes, pores, and redness. It clarifies, exfoliates, and soothes redness with AHAs and quartz micro-crystals for a smooth, clear-looking complexion. This mask also contains African Wild Grape and Raw Honey that hydrate and soothe to visibly calm irritation and minimize the look of redness.
I use this when my skin is feeling dull or clogged. I use it maximum twice a week because it does such an amazing job exfoliating!
The Blemish Balm from Osea has been a lifesaver throughout the pandemic and having to wear masks. It is a sheer, fast-absorbing moisturizer that clarifies skin and helps promote an even tone. This product contains three types of nutrient-rich seaweed and tea tree, juniper and thyme essential oils. Together, these powerful ingredients help calm and clarify skin, leaving skin's hydration balanced and shine minimized.
I will put this on in the morning after washing my face. It feels so refreshing and it has helped protect my skin from mask-ne (aka acne caused from wearing masks)
Next up is the First Aid Beauty Pharma BHA Acne Spot Treatment. This product has overnight magic powers - it’s insane. This product has worked wonders on my skin. When I notice a blemish forming, I will put it on before I go to bed as part of my night time routine.
The Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta® Universal Daily Peel treatment is my newest addition to my nighttime routine and I have been loving the product and results. This two-step anti-aging AHA/BHA peel pad is pre-dosed with 5 acids to visibly reduce dullness and uneven texture, pores, and dark spots.
